Your Role as a Systems Engineer:

As a Systems Engineer at Docufree, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of enterprise IT systems. You’ll troubleshoot complex challenges, recommend improvements, and serve as a trusted technical resource for both colleagues and clients. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, safeguard infrastructure, and enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Infrastructure & Troubleshooting

• Provide functional expertise on IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
• Diagnose, investigate, and resolve chronic system issues to minimize downtime
• Perform testing to identify improvements for system stability and performance

🔹 Planning & Optimization

• Recommend enhancements to infrastructure, processes, and procedures
• Contribute to project planning, forecasts, and growth initiatives
• Improve and enforce standard operating procedures

🔹 Collaboration & Leadership

• Serve as a technical escalation point for the IT team
• Educate peers on infrastructure changes and best practices
• Document issues and generate detailed Findings Reports for management

🔹 Customer-Focused Support

• Act in the best interest of customers and the overall team
• Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and positive interactions

What You Need to Succeed:

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and independent decision-making

• Clear communication skills, both technical and non-technical
• Ability to balance independent work with team support

✔ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years supporting IT infrastructure and datacenter projects for SaaS systems
• Certifications such as MCSE, Security+, or similar preferred
• Hands-on expertise with:
• Operating systems (Windows, Linux)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Networking, firewalls, and security protocols
• Virtualization & containerization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Database management (SQL/NoSQL)
• Incident management tools (Jira JSM, Confluence)
